About Me!

Hey people, my name is Eylin and I live in the Bx. I go to CIS339 and I am a 7th grade. Well in my school we have a thing going on called dot to dot. We have to do projects for the dot to dot thing and in my literacy class we are writing about issues that we  really care about. The social issue that bothers me the most is Teen pregnancy.  It really bothers me that people have kids when they are still kids themselves!    However, I will not only be blogging about Teen Pregnancy I will be giving you my thoughts and opinions about a number of social issues in this World that I feel are messing up our World.  My job as a blogger is to get you to think...I mean really thing about how what you do, impacts the society! my 1st blog

My name is Eylin Salas and i am in 6th grade .The book I like to read are drama books and teens issues.The things i like most about readin about are.the book that my book club is reading is "absolutely normal chaos."my favorite place to read is in ma house and sometime is school.my reading goal is this year is 2 year of growth in reading .

One pre reading strategy i used was prediction. i predicted that mary lou was going to have a boring summer because she had to do a project.One during reading strategy i used was visualization . in my head i pictured tha she was going to have a boring summer. because is the text it says mrs.zollar asked us to keep a journal this summer and bring it in (in september) to our new english teacher.one post reading strategy i used was connection.i related to the book when one summer day i was so bored that i was writing the whole day in my house.

The things i like about book clubs are that u can read out loud with the members.Reading and talking about a book helps me understand because its makes it easier . Next time i will make it more fun for we can understand more.
